#1: Maintain records

First, buy a small notebook. Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to record every morsel you eat. Simply write down a “ballpark” estimate of what you eat every day. You’ll be surprised at some of the foods that “sneak in”, that you didn’t think you were eating. Plus, an additional benefit, is that having to write down what you eat, actually stops you from eating the worst foods.

#2: Concentrate on “good” food

Replace all the “bad” foods you eat, with “good” foods. You don’t have to eat only good foods, just increase the proportion of them. Good foods include the typical fruits and veggies, plus foods that are high in fiber.

#3: Eat more often

Eating smaller meals more often, speeds up weight loss for most people. Not all, though, so you have to test it for yourself. Break up your usual 3 meals a day, into 5-6 meals.

#4: Ramp up the water

Many people report that drinking lots of water, speed up weight loss too. The usual recommended amount of water is 8 glasses per day, but you will have to drink even more than that, to see a noticeable weight loss effect. Drinking water with every meal, not just between meals, will help you get down all that water.

#5: The last, dreaded way

Exercise. Yeah, I know, you didn’t want to hear about it. But before you leave the room, you’ll be glad to hear that there are ways to lose weight without having to exercise (see more below). Before I talk about that though, let me say that there are easier ways to exercise, that you probably think. For instance, you only have to do 15 minutes a day, to have exercise increase the speed of your fat loss. Better yet, there are many exercises that use your own bodyweight and thus, can be done at home.

For those who hate to exercise, there are ways to lose weight without doing any exercise at all! The key is to have the correct diet plan.
