Great teeth have not only been a fad for beauty today but have been constantly a concern for growing up. The smile will even be impeccable if the teeth are maintained white. And normally, that great smile will cost so much that you would rather delay getting that pearly white smile. Great teeth that are super white can be achieved by following the first and most basic of all the steps in the book: eat right. Your teeth, other than functioning as your best asset, are your best bet in having a great digestion. The chewing action triggers the production of acids in your mouth in order to help break the food down. So the trick here is to make sure that what you eat does not have harmful chemicals that, if it would interact with the acid, will invite tooth decay and cavities. Processed food and complex sugars are the usual suspects. These will not only make you fat but their chemical composition usually deteriorates the teeth color and the overall condition of the teeth. The wonderful foods that you can replace these foods with are the healthy and fresh fruits and vegetables like apples, cucumber, and broccoli. You can also have more fresh meat, eggs and whole foods like whole grains, oats and those that are rich in fiber. In case you really can’t help but drink coffee, soda, processed food like hotdogs and other junk food, make it a habit to rinse your mouth right away after eating. And drink lots of water. This is so remaining chemicals that get stuck in the mouth will either be gulped down or taken out through mouth washing. No need to really bring your toothbrush all the time but a simple gargle after each meal will do.
Do not forget that the correct teeth brushing will also have to be done constantly. Taking care of our great teeth won’t be such a chore nor will it burn your pockets if you do what is best for you and your health.
