How to reduce hair fall – Four vital vitamins to keep your hair healthy

Below are five vitamins which you can find in different food.

Vitamin A

This important vitamin develops healthy body tissue, this goes from normal skin cells to hair cells. It also produces sebum. Without this the hair follicle will malfunction and will cause dry hair, a thick scalp or drandruff. Those will eventually lead to hair loss. Smoking as well as being around in areas where a lot of people smoke can decrease the uptake of vitamin A. Also medication like aspirine can decrease it. Always read the information that is included with your medication. Fish oil, eggs, milk, liver, oranges and carrots are vitamin A rich nutrition.

Vitamin B6, B9 and B12

Haemoglobin production is stimulated by vitamin B. Hemoglobin’s primary function is to carry oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the body, so if these vitamins are deficient in your body, then hair and skin will indeed suffer. Liver, chicken, fish, pork, kidney, and soybeans are good sources of B6. Folic acid also known as B9, is necessary to produce red blood cells. These cells release oxygen while travelling through the body. Folic acid is found in nuts, oranges, liver, whole grains and cereals. Fish, eggs, meat, and other dairy products provide B12 vitamins.

Vitamin C

This one is responsable for the production of collagen. This group of naturally occurring proteins maintains hair tissue together. Without this vitamin the hair will break and cause other hair related problems, yet this can be effortlessly solved by eating vitamin C rich food or taking extra supplements of vitamin C. The most common food that contains vitamin C: citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapfruit, …), tomatoes, (red) peppers, potatoes, broccoli and spinach.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a well-known vitamin to maintain a good blood circulation. It will help to increase the delivery of essential minerals to the scalp to keep your hair healthy. Green leafy vegetables, nuts, and olive oils are nutrition which contain vitamin E.

My advice is to take these vitamins every day till you notice results and keep taking them to reduce hair fall. Stopping the intake after you achieved results is wrong!
